Fiber-optic battle heating up in Northeast Indiana

An Evansville company plans to install a fiber-optic network – an investment of more than $100 million – to provide high-speed Internet, cable TV and telephone service to 11 Indiana communities, including three in northeast Indiana, the company’s president said.
