DeKalb, Kosciusko County auto casting plants sold to private equity firm

FORT WAYNE - A U.S. bankruptcy judge has approved the sale of Contech LLC casting plants in Auburn and Pierceton to a private equity firm, Wilmington, Del.-based Revstone Industries LLC.

Contech, based in Portage, Mich., has been in bankruptcy since January, when it blamed declining orders from automakers for its woes.
