Dropped Fort Wayne area Chrysler auto dealers feel betrayed

Five area auto dealerships lost franchise ties to Chrysler LLC on Tuesday, but it doesn't mean they're going out of business.

And despite the relationships that developed over the years, the dealerships are unhappy with the way the struggling automaker decided to dump them.

"We're the ones taking it on the chin," said Grant Trier, general manager of Trier Ford-Chrysler in Columbia City.
