Budget cuts put Purdue-IU alliance in limbo

For a bit during 2009 it appeared the proposed life science and business partnership between Purdue and Indiana universities was going to succeed.

The Indiana Innovation Alliance was expected to grow the state's life science industries by creating jobs and industry in the state, according to university officials.
