TERRE HAUTE — Plans were unveiled this afternoon for a $120 million pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Terre Haute that is expected to create 234 jobs by 2016.

California-based NantWorks LLC is investing in the former Pfizer property in the southern Vigo County industrial park. The plans were announced in a Vigo County Department of Redevelopment meeting.

NantWorks is purchasing approximately 210 acres of former Pfizer property. The new manufacturing plant is expected to be operational by 2015 and will produce critical care injectable and oncological drugs, according to a news release from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. issued today.
