Union County schools cut teaching jobs to trim $700,000 for next three years

LIBERTY -- Union County schools will have fewer teachers when classes resume in August.

Staff reductions are necessary because the district must trim about $700,000 from its general fund budget over the next three years, Superintendent Zach Rozelle told the school board Monday.
