Parking will affect Finelight's growth

BLOOMINGTON - The order is up at the corner of Washington Street and Kirkwood Avenue.

Today, community landmark Ladyman's Cafe will serve up its last plates of biscuits and gravy, beef manhattans and other home-style specialties before turning off the neon sign in the window for the last time.

A 5-story building is proposed to go up in place of the current 1-story structure. The new incarnation is expected to house the headquarters of Finelight, a locally grown ad agency with offices scattered around the country.
