BSU wants to look beyond Indiana borders for board of trustees members

MUNCIE -- The chairman of Purdue University's board of trustees, Keith Krach, who also happens to be the chairman of the board at Angie's List, lives in San Francisco.

The board of trustees at Indiana University includes a member from Hong Kong and another from the District of Columbia.

But at Ball State University, even if you are a distinguished alumna, like Burberry chief executive officer Angela Ahrendts, you can't serve on the board of trustees without living in Indiana.
