CRANE -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing that beginning as early as this week, contractor's crews will begin night-time work operations in northern Daviess and southern Greene counties.

"Work on the I-69 corridor continues to move forward and crews will now begin working night-time shifts as part of their regular work activities. Crews will be working these hours along Daviess County Road 1550 North between C.R. 600 E and State Road 57,"according to INDOT District office spokesperson Cher Elliott.

Additionally, law enforcement will be patrolling the area and including the U.S. 231 interchange to aid in the reduction of accidents and speeding, Elliott said.
