Winkler gets $144,000 Anderson economic development contract for 2015

Winkler’s contract will be $144,000 for the year, the same amount as in 2013 and 2014.

Part of the contract is a goal of having 40 percent of the contacts with companies interested in locating to Anderson through the Economic Development Department.

Winkler said currently 38 percent of the leads come from direct contact with decision makers by the Economic Development Department.

“There are an additional 162 leads over the past three years,” Winkler said.
