To meet mission requirements Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) will hire in excess of 400 employees during fiscal year 2010 and will be looking for candidates at a job fair at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville on Saturday.

NSWC Crane is interested in hiring journeyman level scientists, engineers, and contract specialists. A qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree, work experience, and be a United States citizen, according to NSWC Public Affairs Officer Brett Day.

Those interested in applying should bring their resumes, transcripts and if claiming Veteran's preference a DD214 form.

In addition to NSWC Crane several military support contractors will also be looking for candidates at the job fair. These companies will be looking for entry level as well as journeyman and are also interested in technicians, logisticians and administrative candidates, Day added.

The Crane Learning and Employment Center (CLEC) for Veterans with Disabilities will also be attending the event and will be available to answer questions and provide information on the program.
