The number of MCCSC teachers recalled from the reduction-in-force layoff list has now reached 40 but, while Peggy Chambers is very pleased about that, she cautions that number shouldn’t be misinterpreted as positions being restored.

The Monroe County Community School Corp. is still losing the same number of positions, as determined by budget cuts in the spring.
