Michigan City is giving a tax break to the Michigan City Paper Box Co., which is investing $1.2 million in new equipment that will result in three new jobs.
The 112-year-old family-owned company makes boxes for companies like Wal-Mart, Gap, K-Mart, Banana Republic, Kohl's, Lord and Taylor and Coldwater Creek. It's a leading manufacturing of cotton-filled jewelry boxes.

"Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, we will continue to expand our products and services to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers all over the world. We are proud to call Michigan City, Indiana home."
