Old National Bank’s Downtown Evansville headquarters building is being offered for sale, but the bank says this transaction will have no impact on its operations.

The sales information is listed on the website of Tulsa, Oklahoma-based leasing company Stan Johnson Co.

On its site, stanjohnsonco.com, the company says it is offering investors “the opportunity to acquire the ownership interest in a total of 24 Old National Bank assets located throughout Indiana and Kentucky,” including the bank’s Evansville headquarters.

The 24 properties are bundled into seven pools that can be purchased individually. Total price for the assets is $146.7 million, the listing says.

Bank representatives contacted on Wednesday said news of the listing was a surprise to them and does not affect their operations.

“Whatever the (building) owners do does really not impact us at all, because we lease the space,” said Old National spokeswoman Kathy Schoettlin.

The deal, Schoettlin said, will have “no impact to the operation of the bank.”

“We are deeply rooted here and have no desire or intention to move our headquarters,” she said.

Old National moved into its current headquarters, located at 1 Main St., in 2004. It owned the 250,000-square-foot, eight-story building until 2006, when it sold the property to SunTrust Equity Funding of Atlanta for $69.4 million. After the sale, Old National then leased back the space from SunTrust.

Ownership of the building has changed hands twice since then, Schoettlin said.

According to the Vanderburgh County Assessor’s Office, the building’s current owner is ONB One Main Landlord LLC. The Indiana Secretary of State’s office lists the LLC as having a South Florida address.

According to Old National’s 2013 annual report, the bank’s lease on its headquarters building runs through 2031, with renewal options after that. As of Dec. 31, the bank also leased 118 of its 169 branch office locations.
