Wayne Machine granted 8-year tax break by Richmond

The company originally sought a 10-year abatement but council’s tax abatement committee recommended eight years because of the low investment in the project and because the company did not provide health insurance to its workers.

Wayne Machine has 17 employees and the new equipment would retain one employee.
