Radius Indiana recently earned a University of Indianapolis Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning grant of $20,000, funded by the Indiana Education Roundtable.

Last year, Radius Indiana, a regional partnership representing eight counties in south central Indiana, was awarded a CELL grant of $75,000 to establish advisory councils within the Radius Indiana region, according to a news release. The councils examine educational activities to find the best practices and adapt those models throughout Southern Indiana.

The second grant was awarded based on research compiled from those councils to develop career and technical initiatives, such as fostering collaborations between employers, educators and guidance counselors while making sure students and workers have opportunities to improve education, knowledge and skill levels.

The Education-Workforce Innovation Network grants, established by CELL, are used to help with Indiana’s kindergarten through 12th grade, post-secondary and workforce needs.
