LOUISVILLE — Three new two-minute tours of the Ohio River Bridges Project downtown crossing are now available, according to an ORBP news release.
The new additions focus on the Kennedy Bridge interchange, the Interstate 64-71 interchange and the work being done in Southern Indiana. The tours include information on the construction that has been completed and work to come, including several renderings of what residents will see on the streets of downtown Louisville and Jeffersonville when the project is complete.
The three new virtual tours are the fourth, fifth and sixth installments of the video series. The first three tours in the series provide an overview of the ORBP, a look at the new bridge under construction as part of the downtown crossing and the piers of the new bridge.
“The video tours are a great way to stay up to date on the project from the comfort of your home or office during the cold winter months,” according to the release. “They also offer another option for people who are not able to take advantage of the Downtown Crossing walking tours.”
The ORBP Downtown Crossing announced monthly tours of the project that will run March through October, but reservations were filled within a week of their announcement.
