Looking for the next Indiana education battle? Evidence points to the state’s science standards, which are up for review and already drawing heat from the group that derailed the Common Core State Standards here.
Erin Tuttle of Hoosiers Against Common Core complained to the Indiana State Board of Education last week that the Next Generation State Science Standards, developed by national science curriculum experts, are nothing more than “sister standards to Common Core.”
She complained the Next Generation standards are not rigorous enough.
