BRISTOL — A new company that plans to build in the Bristol Park for Industry is seeking a tax abatement from the town.

Five Star, which will manufacture high-end fiberglass side panels for RVs, trucks and trailers using a thermal oxidizing process, would invest nearly $13.5 million in the property, said Chris Stager with the Economic Development Corp. of Elkhart County. Stager told the Bristol Town Council on Tuesday, July 14, that the company plans to build a 120,000-square-foot building on a 14-acre lot.

Five Star plans to employ 90 to 120 people by the end of 2018 at an average pay rate of $20 per hour, he said.
