JEFFERSONVILLE — Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, a Southern Indiana native, announced his run for Indiana’s 9th District congressional seat today in Jeffersonville.

Zoeller, 60, a Republican, has served as Indiana’s attorney general since 2008.

Todd Young, who holds the 9th District seat, is running for the Senate seat which will be vacated after 2016 by Dan Coats, who is not seeking re-election.

Zoeller joins State Sens. Brent Waltz (R-Greenwood) and Erin Houchin (R-Salem), who have both said they will run for Young’s seat.
