A Fishers-based tech startup said it is planning a $775,000 expansion that will create 56 jobs by the end of 2019.

ConsulTeams, a web-based consulting agency, was founded this year by Haresh Gangwani, former chief revenue officer for ReachForce, and David Cochran, former chief information officer for InfraWare.

The software as a service, or SaaS, company helps entrepreneurs and business leaders link with marketing, sales, technology and finance experts.

The company is headquartered at 14074 Trade Center Dr. in Fishers, near State Road 37 and East 141st Street.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered ConsulTeams up to $875,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $25,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans.

IEDC said the positions would be "high-wage jobs," but did not provide an average salary. The company currently has two staff members in addition to the founders.

“Central Indiana has long been a launching pad for industry-leading technology enterprises and our business model, based on improving access to expertise, is a natural byproduct of working in an area so rich in both entrepreneurship and talent,” Gangwani said in a written statement. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to build on this great foundation.”
