RV shipments were down in July compared to the same month last year, but manufacturers say they’ve shipped almost 10,000 more units so far this year than they had last year at this time.

RV manufacturers have shipped 229,759 units so far in 2015, a gain of about 4.4 percent over 2014, according to a release from the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association. That’s 9,717 more motorhomes, campers and trailers than the same time last year.
