Wabash-based Martin Yale Industries buys Kansas firm

Martin Yale Industries, a Wabash-based provider of print finishing, office and mailroom equipment, acquired Dry-Lam LLC located in Shawnee, Kan.

Dry-Lam distributes laminating equipment and films to the office product and commercial print finishing markets. Dry-Lam’s expertise in laminating machines, films, transparencies, and tissue will expand Martin Yale’s product offerings and service.

“It is extremely exciting to add laminating to our product portfolio. This acquisition enables us to leverage already existing relationships of the two companies, giving strong Dry-Lam customers access to Martin Yale products and strong Martin Yale customers access to leading lamination products,” Greg German, president of Martin Yale, said in a statement.

Aas part of the acquisition, Dry-Lam’s distribution center will be relocated to Martin Yale’s facility in Wabash in order to increase capacity and efficiency.

Founded in 1940, Martin Yale has 77 years of experience designing, engineering, and manufacturing products for print shops and offices.
