It won't mean new jobs for the area for the time being, but KGP is moving its manufacturing plant from South Bend to Warsaw.

There is no set date on when the move will take place, but KGP has to be out of their South Bend facilities on West Chippewa Avenue by the end of March.

KGP already has KGP Logistics in the area at 2000 W. Winona Ave., which employs about 22 people.

The 25 employees from South Bend are all expected to commute to Warsaw.

According to KGP Logistics' Warsaw location general manager Dave Russell, the new employees will be working out of the Winona Avenue location.

KGP is a supplier of telecommunication products, among others, and is based out of Minnesota.

The company employs about 600 people and has five locations in the United States and one in Juarez, Mexico.
