CHALMERS -- The wind that blows across southwestern White County farm fields will soon be harvested and converted into renewable electricity.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held west of here Tuesday for Meadow Lake Wind Farm, a three-phase project designed to install more than 600 turbines with the potential to produce 1,000 megawatts of electricity.
