15 to study Richmond, Wayne County cooperation

The ongoing effort by city of Richmond and Wayne County officials to look for ways to share costs and possibly combine departments is shifting to 2012.

But the groundwork for that project is being set this month.

Wayne County Council and Richmond Common Council members have set a meeting for Dec. 14 to begin discussions on ways to proceed.
