McRobbie orders $59 million in budget cuts from IU campuses

Indiana University faculty and staff received a sobering message from President Michael A. McRobbie today.

In an e-mail distributed in mid-afternoon, McRobbie said every campus in the IU system will be required to submit a plan by the end of January, outlining exactly how it will contribute to nearly $59 million in budget cuts over the next 18 months, imposed by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.
