MISHAWAKA — School City of Mishawaka will give 33 teachers and eight other employees notices that they will lose their jobs this summer.
But Gregg Hixenbaugh, director of human resources and relations for the district, told school board members Wednesday night he expects to be able to recall eight teachers as early as next week.
He said more will get new teaching contracts over the summer.
